About

Hi I'm Nichola, I am an Early Childhood Teacher and have been teaching within the industry for 23 years.  I am lucky enough to be a mum to three amazingly beautiful children, Finn, Ella and Ollie.  These three are my biggest teachers in life and I feel so blessed to have them reminding me daily of how to live and love life to the fullest.  We are a very outdoorsy family and love being in the ocean, paddle boarding, swimming, surfing, jetskiing, kayaking, or going for bush walks, waterfall adventures, horse riding and photography.

Mindful Kids Movement was founded in 2015 by Nichola Brewer.

Being an Early Childhood Teacher, over many years I observed children struggling with big emotions, the ways in which they could recognise these, express these, and the lack of strategies they had to move through these in positive ways.   This is where my journey began.  I researched, attended many courses on emotional growth in children, brain development, and how to teach emotional intellegence to children.

From this Mindful Kids Movement was created with the desire to teach children emotional intellegence in a fun, educational and engaging way through specifically designed programs I have created.  These are presented via kids yoga, kids art, mindfulness, relaxation, breath work, and reflection times.

I feel privileged to be able to merge my passion of yoga and art with my love of teaching and learning alongside children in a holistic way.
